(10/15/06) PICTURES FROM REGIONALS
(10/1506) Thank you-to all of those who wished Alexandria good luck at the
2007 North Atlantic Regional Championships. Your support means so much to
her. Alexandria placed 12th in Juvenile Group B. She looks forward to moving up
to Intermediate later this month and starting fresh for 2007 with a new free-skate
program, and for the first time, a short program.
(10/9/06) Thank you Uncle Wayne, Aunt Mary, Uncle Cory, Mama, Uncle Keith,
Aunt Lisa, Papa, Marj, Aunt Pam, Rosemary, Chrissy, Coach Linda, Liam (TEO),
and my cousins, Stephanie, Logan, Payton, and Aidan for coming to my surprise
party. Your words of inspiration are so appreciated. Thank you Barb for the
beautiful cake. It was delicious, as always. I want to thank my mom, David,
and Ashton for giving me such a wonderful "Regional Send Off Party".
I love you all.
(10/9/06) Only three more days until Alexandria competes in the
2007 North Atlantic Regional Championship in Jamestown, New York.
Alex is scheduled to compete on Thursday, October 12th at 10:35am. We send a
huge thank you to Linda for all her patience and great coaching.
Alex would like to wish her friend Julianne the best of luck as she competes on
Wednesday in the Novice division. How exciting, REGIONALS!
(9/24/06) Alexandria placed 9th at the Boston Open. She was disappointed
with her performance, but more determined then ever to work even harder.

(9/4/06) On August 26, Alexandria passed her Novice Moves in the Field test. Alexandria and her coach Linda at test session.
8/10/06 Alex is continuing to practice hard in preparation for the Boston Open. Alex will also be taking her Novice MIF test
this Saturday. Here is a link to a picture of Alex with her personal trainer Dr. Chrissy Cedilotte.
8/4/06 This week has been amazing for Alex. She came home from vacation and she has been on FIRE. Her double lutz and
double flip have both been consistent, high, and beautiful. Also, this week she has been landing her double flip/double toe-loop
and double lutz/double toe-loop combinations. Alex will next compete at the Boston Open, September 13-18.
And then... it is off to Regionals from October 9-15. Alex's first regionals, she is excited. Who could have imagined that after
four short years she would be landing so many beautiful jumps. We will keep you posted. And again, thank you for visiting
safetransport.ru.
8/1/06 Our family vacation to Ohio was so much fun. Click here to see pictures! When we came home, my grandma gave me
great news. "A Skater's Dream" received a donation from Ms. Lindsay Roth. Lindsay worked with my mom and sent me a
contribution. I am so excited. I am going to use the money towards my entry fee for Regionals in October. THANK YOU
LINDSAY! (8/1/06)

7/28/06 Alex placed 5th at the 2006 Sunshine Invitational in Ohio.
7/7/06 Alexandria placed 5th in the ISU Juvenile Free Skate at the 2006 Lake Placid Free Skating Championships. This was
Alexandria's 1st time skating with the new system, & she did a beautiful job! She missed 4th place by .5 of a point.
6/3/06 Alexandria placed 5th in her qualifying event at the 2006 North Shore Open. She qualified for the Championship
round and placed 11th. We are proud of her accomplishment.
5/20/06 Alexandria passed her Intermediate Moves and Hickory Hoedown.
4/29/06 Alexandria placed 7th at the 2006 Colonial Open.
4/10/06 Alexandria placed 4th in her initial round at the 2006 Morris Open. She qualified for the Championship Round on
Sunday, April 9. Alexandria placed eight in the final; we were just so happy she made it there.
This was her first time in a competition where she had to qualify to make it to another event.
Alex is now working with Dr. Cedilotte on her core strength. She is learning so many techniques for stretching and learning a
great deal about her body.
4/2/06 Alexandria will be competing in the 2006 Morris Open in New Jersey on Saturday, April 8th, and if she qualifies, she
will be skating in the Championship Round on Sunday, April 9th. Last week Alex was landing her
double flip beautifully. She and her coaches have added to her program for the 8th. She had a problem with it on Friday, but
we are hopeful it was just a fluke. We will post her results Sunday evening.
3/19/06 Alexandria placed 1st at the 2006 Garren Invitational. All the skaters in her flight were great and Alexandria sends
her congratulations to all of them. Alex landed her axle, double salchow, double loop, and double toe loop. We could not have
asked for more being that it was her first time at the Juvenile level; we are so proud of her. Besides a gold medal, Alex also won
the 2006 LINDA LEVITT TROPHY, which goes to the winner of the Juvenile Ladies Free Skating event. Thank you to everyone
that came to cheer her on. She loved it!! Alex wants to say a special I love you to her Nanny McCullough that flew from Florida
just to watch her compete.
1/21/06 Alexandria is landing her double flip, and her double loop-double loop combination has wonderful height and
rotation.
1/19/06 This week is Alexandria's 4 year anniversary. Four years of skating that is. You have come such a long ways.
1/15/06 Great Job! Alexandria is officially at the JUVENILE LEVEL. We are all proud of Alexandria for her two wonderful
tests of which she passed both this past weekend in Simsbury, CT. Alexandria is now eligible to compete at the North Atlantic
Regionals in October 2006.
1/8/06 While training in Lake Placid with Gilberto on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, Alexandria landed her double loop-double loop
combination. This is terrific. I yelled out loud with joy when she landed it. I guess that when your child works so hard
towards something, the first time they make it is so exciting. I hope she continues to be such a hard worker. Also, her attitude
has been lovely. A simple joy.
12/8/05 Today the Capital Communications Federal Credit Union started the "A SKATER'S DREAM FUND" to help with the
enormous costs associated with my skating. Please see my SPONSORSHIP page to see how you can help "A SKATER'S DREAM".
Thank you!
12/7/05 Today Alex landed her double salchow, double loop, double toe-loop, double flip and double lutz. The last three have
been so close and today she did it. This is a happy day. We know she will do great.
12/6/05 Another exciting weekend! Alexandria placed 1st out of the 7 skaters in her pre-juvenile group at Skaneateles. Alex
received 1st place across the boards from all five judges. Yippy!
12/3/05 We just arrived home from Alexandria's Skaneateles competition were she placed 1st. We are so proud once again.
Alexandria's Mom, Mama, Dad, Stepmother-Linda, sister Leanne, Aunt Kathy, and a family friend, Sue, all came to watch. Of
course Erika put Alex on the ice. Her attitude, presentation, jumps and spins were all beautiful. Yeah for Alexandria. I think
she is reaping the benefits of her hard work. Because of Alexandria's success at the Pre-Juvenile level, she will be moving up to
Juvenile. While it may take her a while to excel by moving so quickly, we know the wait will be worth in. Alexandria will next
test in January and compete in February. Once we have the exact date of the competition we will post it on the website.
11/20/05 Alexandria just passed both her Pre-Juvenile tests. We are so happy for her. She was complimented by many of the
judges, which is always nice to hear. Now it is time to excel at Skaneateles. Also, on Friday, Alex started working on her Willow
Waltz with Charles. She thinks she will be ready to test two of her Bronze Dance tests come January. We will keep you posted.
11/19/05 Today Alex placed second at the Pioneer Valley Penguin Competition in Springfield, MA. This was her first time
competing at the Pre-Juvenile level and she did great. She had many people there to cheer her on. Our friend Martha came to
watch Alex along with her Dad, Linda, Leanne, her Mama, Aunt Mary and cousins Stephanie and Logan. And of course, her
mom watched nervously as always. Alex's presentation was above anything we have ever seen from her. We are so excited and
proud of her that we even cried with joy. Keep up the great work. Tomorrow Alex will test in Saratoga, and we are hoping for
another wonderful day.
11/15/05 Alexandria passed all her Pre-Bronze Dance Tests on November 6th, and now there are only four more days until
competition and Alex is excited. She can't wait to go to the Penguin with Erika. Alex has been away from Lake Placid for what
seems like forever. Stars on Ice are practicing at the Olympic Center so we have been unable to get on the ice. We are hoping
that Alex will be able to start fresh the second week of December. Her schedule is so full. She competes Saturday, and on
Sunday she takes two tests. Next it is Thanksgiving, and then the following weekend she competes again. Busy, busy, busy.
11/1/05 Yesterday Alexandria landed many beautiful double flips. Kudos to Alexandria. For doubles, she now has to
concentrate on landing her double toe loop consistently, and mastering her double lutz, which is very close, then it is onto her
last double - the double axel. Keep up the great work Alex.
10/25/05 Alex will be taking her three Pre-Bronze Dance tests on November 6th, and will be competing on November 19th in
Springfield, MA. Good Luck Alex!
10/08/05 Alexandria is landing her axel, double salchow, and double loop beautifully and consistently. Her layback is elegant
and mature. She is very close on all her other doubles (except the double axel).
As a way to earn extra money to help her mom pay for skating, she has started working for her grandfather. She dusts,
vacuums, washes the windows, etc., and earns $5.00 an hour. Unfortunately, because she is on the ice so often, she can only
work about 5 hours a week. Her mom has assured her that "every little bit helps."
Also, here is a message that Alexandria's mom came home from work and heard on the answering machine. It was left by
Alexandria's teacher at Algonquin Middle School.
"Hello this is Mrs. Anthony at Algonquin. I am just calling to let you know what a wonderful girl Alex is and what a great job
she did working last week at Five Rivers. She just pitched in, did her job, and did not complain and really, really worked hard. I
was just so proud of her and I just wanted to pass that along. Have a nice day!"
Alexandria will next compete on November 19th at the Pioneer Valley Penguin Invitational. Also during the month of
November Alex is scheduled to take her Pre-Bronze Level Dance Tests, her Pre-Juvenile Moves in the Field test, and her Pre-
Juvenile Free Skate Test. Good Luck Alex!
